Ok, not too much excitement here on the Superbowl Front, but I for one would love to the Steelers win- got many friends/family who would love to see this happen and the Steelers are an AFC team....
Dave does not care and doesn't not like the Steelers... but he's deep frying a turkey! Yum, yum, yum!!!

Going to try something differnt with my blog
This is still our blog, but in an effort for me to keep up with it, I am going to share secrets and cooking ideas. I would like to post recipes and information... so I am going to try:
First up:
Corn Casserole
I got this from Paula Deen's show, but have made it my own! Dave says I can't just let something be the recipe!!
1 can creamed corn
1 can whole kernal corn
1 pkg Jiffy cornbread mix
1 cup sour cream- I use Fat Free!
1 cup sharp cheddar cheese
garlic salt to taste
2 tsp minced onion
1. Mix corns, sour cream, and jiffy mix together. Add garlic salt and minced onion
2. Pour into a greased small casserole dish.
3. Bake at 350* for 45 minutes, then take out and top with cheese...
4. Bake another 8-10 minutes...
5. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
I like to top the cheese with cracked black pepper and garlic salt before putting it back in... It's delicious!!
